Every piece listed here is made by an independent artisan or a small workshop using traditional techniques. We do not sell factory reproductions, machine-stamped goods, or items passed off as handmade when they are not. Each product page states the craft method, the materials used, and the region where the piece was made.
Material names follow the artisan's own terminology. Natural dyes, untreated wood, and unglazed ceramics are labeled as such. If a finish contains synthetic components, that is disclosed in the product details. When in doubt, contact us before ordering — we will confirm the exact composition with the maker.
Photographs are taken in natural light, but hand-dyed fabric, kiln-fired glaze, and carved wood all vary slightly from batch to batch. We describe each item's tonal range in the listing, and we encourage you to read those notes before purchase. Small irregularities are part of the character of handmade work, not defects.
Because each piece is unique, returns are accepted only if the item arrives damaged or differs materially from its description. Custom and commissioned works are non-refundable once production begins. To start a return, email us within seven days of delivery with photos of the issue, and we will arrange a resolution with the artisan.
We visit workshops, review portfolios, and confirm that each maker is the original creator of the work they sell. We do not list resellers, drop-shippers, or anonymous wholesalers. Every artisan profile on the site includes their name, location, and a short statement about their practice.
Some artisans accept wholesale requests for galleries, hotels, and retail partners. Bulk orders are handled individually, and lead times depend on the maker's current workload. Send us a message with the product link and quantity, and we will put you in direct contact with the artisan.

A direct dialogue with a craftsperson to create a piece that does not exist in the catalog. You define the dimensions, materials, and finish; the maker proposes the construction method. Lead time depends on the workshop calendar and the complexity of the design.
For designers, shop owners, and hospitality projects that need consistent supply. We maintain a list of available works and can reserve pieces for upcoming projects. Minimum order quantities apply, and samples are sent before the full batch is made.
